Dr. Roger Benjamin

Dr. Roger Benjamin is president of Council for Aid to Education (CAE), an organization sited in New York and focused to Educative Assessment. CAE has implemented innovative assessment methodologies, to evaluate the basic education system in the United States and other countries.

CAE participated in AHELO Project as one of the adviser consortium for the design, development and assessment of the feasibility study instruments.

Dr. Benjamin has a relevant research and academic career; he was rector of RAND organization, also provost at the University of Minnesota and at the University of Pittsburgh.


As a researcher, Dr. Benjamin has received numerous awards; he is the recipient of research awards from the Fulbright Commission to Japan, Korea and multiple U.S. Foundations. He is the author of many publications, including 9 authored books about diverse themes, such as Higher Education Assessment.
